Have you had a ‘Welcome to The U moment? If so, what was it?
My “Welcome to the U” moment was the first basketball game my wife and I got to attend. It was a women’s game against Notre Dame. Arielle showed me the ropes on how our equipment team works during a game. After the game, my wife and I had the chance to take a picture on the court. We put our hands together and made the “U”. That’s when we knew we were in our new home.
What attracted you about working with the Hurricanes?
What attracted me the most about given the opportunity to work with Miami is the fact I get to tell people that I get to work at one of the most prestigious institutions in the country. I also get to build new connections and grow in the sports industry.
Who would you consider your biggest mentor?
My biggest mentor is my grandfather. He is someone I always look up to. He taught me to be responsible, hardworking, and honest. All of which are major qualities to have in the sports industry, especially the equipment room.
